Bill of law that modifies the Organic Constitutional Law of Municipalities regarding the management of waste, rubble or other household waste
On April 29, 2021, a group of representatives submitted to the Chamber of Deputies a bill of law that seeks to modify Law No. 18,695, Organic Constitutional Law of Municipalities, particularly its article 3, with the aim of including among the functions of the municipalities, the obligation to implement innovation and environmental impact policies regarding waste, rubble and other waste generated in the boroughs, when preparing, approving, and modifying the communal development plans.
The project is currently in its first constitutional process.
